Pleasant Valley Bluegrass Show

St. Matthews United Church of Christ is hosting our second annual Pleasant Valley Bluegrass Show in the beautiful village of Pleasant Valley just outside of Westminster MD. The event is held at the Pleasant Valley Community Fire Department and features 3 fantastic bluegrass bands for an evening of fun, food and music. Doors open at 2 PM, music begins at 3 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, or $30 at the door.

Featuring

Featuring three-time IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year Danny Paisley! Danny and his band The Southern Grass are a traditional band who, with the help of some mighty instrumentalists, bring a unique but familiar sound to the bluegrass scene.

New to the bluegrass scene, but not new to the music.

Billy and his sister Terry bring high energy, great harmonies and excellent musicians to the stage.

You won’t find a more local bluegrass musician than the opener for the day, our very own Hayden Shaw with his band, This Side of Pleasant.

We will have a variety of delicious food for sale, so come hungry for dinner and snacks. We will also have beer available for purchase. EVERYONE must show valid ID to purchase beer
